Rick Browning

Rick Browning currently serves as the Application Services Manager at Catawba College. He joined the College in 2022 and manages and supports educational technologies including Blackboard, Panopto, Qualtrics, and Zoom. In his role, Rick partners closely with faculty to ensure these tools are used effectively to support teaching and learning while also helping staff and students in the use of these technologies.

He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Instructional Design, where his research explores how technology and pedagogy can work together to enhance teaching and learning. He also has a deep interest in understanding how people learn and how technology can contribute to their success.
