An extensive examination of the thinking, writing and acting of the Founders who wrote the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Prerequisite: HIST 2000 (The Historian's Craft) and at least 3 hours of upper division American history, or permission of the instructor.
