Natural Resource Ecology & Mgt
A study of renewable natural resources from a holistic and management viewpoint, with a particular emphasis on sustainability. Topics include history of natural resource conservation and environmentalism in the US; conservation and management of soil, landscapes, wetlands, forests, wildlife, biodiversity, and other resources; and public lands policy and management. Lecture, laboratory and experiential learning field trips. Prerequisiste: BIOL 1503 and either ENV 1112 or 1401, 1402 or 1403.
