Tim Conley serves Catawba College as Director of IT Infrastructure, where he and his team have been driving transformative change since he joined in early 2023. Tim has led a sweeping overhaul of the College’s technology systems—replacing nearly all legacy infrastructure with modern, secure, and reliable solutions. His team’s work ensures that students, faculty, and staff have the tools and connectivity they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world. Known for his collaborative approach and hands-on leadership, Tim is passionate about building systems that not only meet today’s needs but are also ready for the future. He holds multiple certifications in the key areas he oversees, including networking, security, and Microsoft systems.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys fishing, camping, and boating. Hometown: Vanceburg, KY, Favorite spot on campus is the nature preserve. Fun Fact: He flies a powered paraglider with his Jack Russell, Sully. His favorite Catawba event is the First-Year Student Retreats.

Best Advice for Future Students:  Be patient and make the most of your time at Catawba. College is a unique opportunity to explore new ideas, hear different perspectives, and develop the self-discipline that will serve you for a lifetime.
