Special Skills/Qualifications Requested: The President of the Campus Activities Board (CAB) serves as the primary student leader and is responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall operations. This individual acts as the liaison between CAB and campus administration and collaborates closely with the Executive Board to develop and achieve programming goals.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
a. Utilizing a structured programming timeline in partnership with the Office of Student Affairs (Campus Life) to ensure timely planning and execution of all CAB events.
b. Leading regular meetings with the CAB Executive Board and general members to discuss goals, plan events, and delegate responsibilities.
c. Oversee the successful execution of CAB events through hands-on supervision and effective delegation.

i. Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of CAB Sub-Chairs.
j. Maintain consistent communication and meetings with the Coordinator of Campus Life, CAB Executive Board, and general members.
k. Plan and facilitate CAB meetings, including developing agendas, engaging members in discussion, and assigning tasks.

Job Description:
The Cannon Student Center Attendant plays a key role in supporting student recreation and maintaining a welcoming campus environment. Attendants will supervise the billiards room, manage equipment check-out for nearby recreational spaces, and maintain cleanliness in the billiards area, checkout station, and other areas as assigned. This position includes light custodial tasks, securing spaces at the end of each shift, and assisting students with recreational needs in a friendly and professional manner.
Special Skills/Qualifications Requested:
Successful candidates will be dependable, organized, and self-motivated. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Previous experience with customer service, recreational spaces, or front desk roles is helpful but not required. Commitment Expectations
- Work-study students will work up to (decided in contract) hours per week. These hours were chosen to ensure you can balance your classwork and other commitments on campus.
- Pay for work-study students is $12 per hour and is paid to students monthly.
- Direct student athletes to sign in for study hall and check out before they leave.
- Ensure all students sign in for required meetings with their success coach or for any other reason for their visit with other Staff in the success center. If they have an appointment, ensure they wait until their appointment time; if not, the customer service desk student should let a staff member know that someone would like to meet with them.
- Complete other tasks as indicated in the job description.
- Have bi-weekly meetings (10-15 minutes) with supervisor to discuss ideas or areas of concern.

Job Description:
This work study position entails maintaining materials in the Teacher Education classroom (HEDR 3310) and the School of Education Learning Lab (HEDR 3111). The student will have work space in either location for selected hours to maintain instructional materials located in each room for education majors/minors to use when planning lessons, preparing class assignments, and preparing for licensure exams. The student will monitor our check-out system for materials, will reshelve materials and books upon return, and will maintain the organization of curriculum materials in HEDR 3310, 3111, and those located on shelving in the education hall and in HEDR 3109. The student may also be asked to complete office-related tasks (ex: copies), as needed. This work study also entails time in the local schools reading to children and assisting in an elementary school classroom, as part of our commitment to the Readers in Schools program. (Please note: A brief training with the Readers in Schools coordinator and a criminal background check is required to complete this part of the work study position and allow for visitation for reading in the public schools.)
