The Catawba College Dance minor program teaches a full range of dance essentials in its balanced curriculum. You’ll explore Foundations in Movement, Tap/Jazz Dance, Ballet/Modern Dance, Historical and Cultural Perspectives in Dance, Choreography, and other Dance electives while complementing another performing arts major or any other major at Catawba.
Musical Theatre majors are encouraged to take courses in Dance as part of their degree requirements, providing a well-rounded performing arts education. Dance minors are therefore encouraged to explore other facets of performing arts as well, gaining invaluable exposure across creative disciplines and enhancing your skills, experience, and employability in the performing arts.

Catawba College's Blue Masque Student Group presents Audrey Cefaly's Alabaster at the Florence Busby Corriher Experimental Theatre from Friday, March 22nd to Sunday, March 24th. Friday and Saturday performances will start at 7:30 pm. The Sunday performance will begin at 2:30 pm.
Catawba College’s Shuford School of Performing Arts and the Theatre Arts Department are excited to bring prominent puppeteer, puppet designer, and master performer Rick Lyon to campus for Cat Chat on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30 pm in Hedrick Little Theatre. This event is free and open to the public.
Catawba College's Shuford School of Performing Arts will present "Songs from the Silver Screen" on Sunday, February 25th at 4 pm In Keppel Auditorium, Robertson College-Community Center. The concert Is free and open to the public.
