Student performing in Watson Intelligence Theatre Production

Theatre Arts Performance majors don’t just learn the basic history of theatre or how to memorize scripts, get into character, and project their voices while on stage. Here you’ll go beyond the textbooks and basic skill drills, learning from world-class faculty and guest artists, producing and performing with your peers in student-led productions, through travel, internships, and more. You’ll also broaden and strengthen your performance skills through interdisciplinary study in Dance and Music to greatly enhance your experience and employability after graduation or in preparation for a master’s degree in theatre performance.

I loved my four years here. I loved being able to work with such a talented group of people onstage and off. Enjoy every minute of it! Yes, times might get tough. Yes, you will be exhausted. But it's those moments that you need to really stop and enjoy. Look at your peers, at your friends, at your theatre family; and see that you are in this together. That you are all working together for the same goal, and if you are really taking in everything you will be able to feel the love and the passion for the beautiful art you are creating.
