High school juniors or seniors are able to apply for admission to Catawba as a Joint Enrollment student. The deadline to apply for fall is August 1. The deadline to apply for spring is January 2.

Intended to serve Latina students with a shared desire to learn and experience higher education, Unanue scholars are paired with Latina mentors from Catawba College who will meet regularly with students and offer advice on college life.

As male African American or Black students with a shared desire to learn and experience higher education, students are enrolled in a college-level course focused on exploring leadership while receiving instruction in academic skills crucial for success at the college-level. In addition, scholars will be paired with male African American or Black mentors from Catawba College who will meet regularly with students and offer advice on college life.
