Mountainfilm on Tour

Mountainfilm On Tour is coming to Salisbury on January 21. The event will be held at Catawba College’s Hedrick Theatre. The doors will open at 5 p.m. and the film will begin at 6 p.m. General admission will be $25 and there will also be premier seating and VIP packages available.

Mountainfilm is considered to be one of America’s longest-running film festivals. Based out of Telluride, Colorado, the festival is loaded with adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films that work to highlight outdoor recreation and mountain culture. This event is hosted and in support of Muddy Sneakers, a local non-profit that specializes in introducing students to outdoor science education throughout North Carolina.

The show will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: to use the power of film, art, and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. All event proceeds benefit Muddy Sneakers.
