Award-winning playwright and Catawba College Professor, Dr. Bradley Stephenson, will debut an original piece in the upcoming Hillsboro Community College (HCC) Theatre Department’s Fall Presentation. 

On Wednesday, November 3 through Saturday, November 6, the HCC Theatre Department will perform seven original compositions designed to celebrate the human spirit. Stephenson’s original production, Revolver, will be featured. Along with his work, the following will also be presented: 

  • The Ridiculously Sweet Dream Apartment by Greg Aldrich
  • Uprooting Oaks by David Dudley
  • Saddam's Lions by Jacob Juntunen
  • No Winter No Worries by Jacob Juntunen
  • The Judas Goat by David Dudley
  • The First Yes by Jacob Juntunen

HCC’s Mainstage Theatre is open to limited-capacity audiences for performances. Audiences will be seated socially distanced by ushers. Audience members who feel sick are encouraged to view the performance via livestream. Masks are expected at all times.
