Catawba College Seniors from the Class of 2019 graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree share their future plans following graduation:

Darren Vance

Darren is contracted to perform at Lees McCrae Summer theatre and then plans to audition at Lexington Children’s Theatre.


Charlee Beth Haddock 

Charlee Beth’s early summer plans are to prepare for her move to NYC in July to pursue her professional acting career.


Jacob Hammill

Jacob will summer at Camp Spearhead, then in August he will be moving to NYC.


Taylor Kroop 

Taylor will spend her summer at Camp Spearhead. She is looking at children’s touring companies; Lexington Children’s Theatre, Missoula Children’s Theatre or Knoxville Children’s Theatre.


Savannah Shaver

Savannah will be staying on campus a bit longer as an admissions counselor, while pursuing a contract for Cabarrus Arts Council, where she held her internship this past spring.


Emily Owens

Emily will be working at Starbucks in Salisbury this summer preparing for her move to NYC, where she will pursue her professional acting career.


Caroline Kirk

Caroline will take a year to be home before she moves to NYC to study Acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse for two years.


Shannon Harris

Shannon’s goal is to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA where she will pursue a career in acting and choreography. She is also considering the option of attending graduate school for choreography in the future.


Nicky Vassello 

Nicky will become a cast member with the Disney College Program, May-January. His goal is to attain a permanent position at Disney.


Yeimy Zelaya

Yeimy is prepping for graduate school where she hopes to eventually earn a PhD in film with a Spanish Language emphasis.


Ada Rosado Valdez

Ada is joining Lee Street theatre as their part time staff and office manager. She is also pursuing regional stage management positions.


Veronica Bendele

Veronica is planning to relocate to Atlanta to pursue a career in special F/X makeup in film.


Linda Hughes

Linda has been contracted as a paint intern at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival in WV for the summer and is looking to move back to and work in Florida.


Randy Stull

Randy completed his studies at Catawba early and has been performing in Frederick, MD where he just closed a production of Spring Awakening. He is cast in Side Show, booked a lead in a short film, and plans to move to NYC soon after.


Karissa Carpenter

Karissa is joining the freelance stage managing force for the summer and will be moving to Chicago in the fall.


Amy Kimbrough

Amy was accepted and will be attending the MLitt/MFA program at Mary Baldwin University. This summer she will be in a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Timon of Athens at UNCW this summer as part of the Make Trouble 2019 Ensemble.


 

Charles Karvon

Charles will be spending his summer working on an original play with fellow Catawba Theatre Students.
