Glen Lloyd, a 2006 Catawba College graduate, will be the Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota beginning in early December.

Lloyd's new position will use his skills in program development, fundraising, and volunteer leadership. His background includes team building, program development, marketing initiatives, and college-wide communication and collaboration. Prior to Gustavus, Lloyd successfully developed and implemented programs, raised funds to support them, and inspired groups of volunteers.

A native of Annandale, Va., Lloyd graduated from Catawba with a degree in communication arts and a minor in political science. In 2006, he worked as the pastor of student ministries at Emmaus Baptist Church and at the Northfield YMCA as a youth coordinator. In 2007, he joined the coaching staff of the Ole football team, and became an area coordinator within the Residence Life office at St. Olaf. Lloyd joined the Diversity and Multi-Cultural Office at Gustavus in 2012. He has also been seen on Hollingsworth Field, working with the Golden Gusties as the team's wide receivers coach.

Lloyd is currently working toward his master's degree in organizational leadership from Bethel University.
