Three members of the Catawba College Mathematics Department faculty recently attended the Joint Mathematics Meetings of the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Association of American in Phoenix, Arizona. Faculty members included Drs. John Zerger, Sharon Sullivan and Paul Baker.
In addition to participating in the meetings, Sullivan presented a paper entitled “Forming Configurations from Nondegenerate Quadratic Forms over Finite Fields.” Zerger worked as a consultant on an Applied Linear Algebra text with W.H. Freeman and Worth Publishing.
