The ensemble will feature works from George Kenny, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Percy Grainger, Ernesto Lecuona, and Sir Arthur Sullivan. At each stop along the way, Dr. Etters and other faculty traveling on the tour will conduct "master classes" for local high school students.

Tyler Howe, a Music Education major from Spencer notes: "This tour will help us build the ensemble. It helps spread our name and helps us recruit student musicians to Catawba." Tyler plays trumpet with the ensemble.

"It's exciting and a great thing for the Music Department," adds Robert Burgess, a percussionist and chemistry major from Rockwell.
