Catawba College's Gospel Choir, under the direction of Young-Artist-In-Residence and Inspire the Fire founder, Dennis Reed '06, will offer a free fall concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.   The concert, which is open to the public, is scheduled in Peeler Crystal Lounge of the Robertson College-Community Center.

Catawba's Gospel Choir is a vocal ensemble that performs a variety of music from sacred and popular repertoires.   Under the direction of Dennis Reed, the choir has performed for churches, schools and civic groups over the past five years.   In recent years, the Gospel Choir has sponsoredEvents such as "Knives and Guns," a program to raise awareness about "Invisible Children" in Africa.

Reed and his troupe, Inspire the Fire, were among the top 48 finalists to perform this summer on the NBC television show, "America's Got Talent."
