Catawba College Mathematics Professor Dr. Paul Baker was recently honored by the Mathematical Association of America for demonstrating his professionalism in the field of mathematics over the past 35 years. He received a certificate of recognition from that organization.
Additionally, Baker, who this past summer traveled on mission trips to orphanages in both Russia and Cambodia, made a presentation about his journeys to fifth graders in Mrs. Donna Rymer’s class at Bostian Elementary School. He also reported on the results of his mission trips to congregation members at Grace Covenant Church in Kannapolis during a recent Evening Bible Study there.
