Dr. Tanjian Liang, assistant professor of Health and Physical Education and coordinator of Physical Education at Catawba College, was recently honored with prestigious award.
Liang was presented the Outstanding Dissertation Award for Invitation Education at the International Association for Invitational Education Conference held November 3-5 in Lexington, Kentucky.
While at the conference, Liang also chaired an interactive break out session for attendees titled, “Can We Teach ‘Caring’ in Teacher Preparation Programs?” In that session, research findings of teacher candidates’ perceptions about caring and implementation of caring were presented.
