Catawba College student Kara Peschock of Statesville, who is pursuing a major in Athletic Training, won second place in The Edward Block Undergraduate Scholarship competition during the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association Annual Symposium.
Her award was a $1,000 scholarship presented at the symposium held in Virginia Beach, Va., May 19-21. Peschock was one of several students and faculty from Catawba who attended the event.
