Catawba College will host an Hour of Code on Wednesday, December 10 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the computer lab of Corriher-Linn-Black Library.

The Hour of Code is a global movement to promote computer science and technology to all ages and have as many individuals as possible participate in an hour of code. It can be done individually or as part of a group, and everyone from elementary school to college age and beyond can participate. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.

Catawba students are encouraged to attend, and faculty and staff are invited to bring their children for this fun-filled, engaging and educational event aimed at promoting technical careers and coding!
