Catawba College's Dr. Janice Moore Fuller, the Weaver Endowed Chair of Humanities, professor of English, and the institution's Writer-in-Residence, will have one of her poems featured on Garrison Keillor's daily radio program, "The Writer's Almanac," on Saturday, June 11. Fuller's poem, "My Aunt Raises Violets from Africa," will be featured on Keillor's show that is produced by American Public Media (APM).

In each program, Keillor presents a list of cultural events and anniversaries, many associated with literature and literary figures, then concludes with the poetry reading. The program audio is also streamed and podcast from and archived on the APM website at writersalmanac.publicradio.org. The poem will also be included in the daily Writer's Almanac e-mail that Keillor sends to subscribers.
