Attention Former Catawba College Field Hockey Players! It's NOT too late!
How would you the opportunity to see old teammates that you haven’t seen in a long time? You have that chance as former Field Hockey players gather here at Catawba College on Saturday, October 4th, 2008.
Plans for Saturday begin with an Alumni Game at 10am at Frock Field. If you are playing in that game, please read and sign the Waiver Form below. Players should report to the field no later than 9:45 dressed to play with Coaches Adrian Gantt and Nan Whitley there to give out additional gear and divide the teams up. After a spirited game for an hour and a half or so, towels, showers and a changing area for everyone will be provided.
After changing, all Alumni Game participants and those former players electing not to play, should come to Kirkland Lobby of Goodman Gym for lunch and a program featuring some former players and coaches as speakers and you will also get to hear from our new President, Dr. Craig Turner.
Along with the Waiver Form for players to complete, please RSVP with the additional registration form provided below. It’s important that you include the names of any guests you will be bringing to lunch on October 4th, plus a daytime phone number and e-mail address for contact information. We’re also asking for your number when you played for a gift all returning Field Hockey alumni will receive at lunch. Register soon so that the gift may be ready for you by October 4th! We will accept registration until Tuesday, September 30th.
Along with seeing teammates again , you will have the chance to see the many changes that have taken place on campus. Five new residence halls opened August, 2007 and the library and student center have been renovated as well. Make your plans now to be here October 4th to renew friendships and make some new ones!
