Two Catawba College students who are majoring in Athletic Training were recently recognized.

Senior Sydney Cox of Statesville had an article published in the March 2011 issue of the "International Journal of Athletic Therapy and Training." The article was entitled, "Case Review: Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis in a College Golfer."

Sophomore Josh Swaim of Jonesville won the North Carolina Health Occupations Students of America competition (the sport medicine part) held in late March in Greensboro. Josh will represent North Carolina at the national competition this summer in Anaheim, Calif.
