The West Teaching Scholars met on Thursday afternoon, April 28, 2014 for an End-of-Year Celebration in the Ketner Hall Atrium.
Senior West Scholars were recognized and were given a crystal apple with the West Scholar logo engraved on the base for their future classrooms. Special guests included Teacher Education Faculty and Staff and Dr. Shirley Ritchie, the namesake for the Ritchie Academy for Teaching.
The 2014 Senior Cohort will graduate the following students:
- Allison Andrews -Theatre Education with a minor in Special Subjects
- Cameron Beard - Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Subjects
- Caroline Bostian - Elementary Education
- Anne Brafford - Elementary Education
- Jana Burkhardt - Middle School Science and Social Studies; Special Education Middle and Secondary Science and Social Studies
- Daniel Couchenour - Environmental Education with a minor in Secondary Subjects
- David Garcia - Health and Physical Education with a minor in Special Subjects
- Kyle Griewisch - Environmental Education with a minor in Secondary Subjects
- Aliyah Khan - Chemistry with a minor in Secondary Education
- Lindsay King - Middle School Science and Math
- Grover “G” Moore - Health and Physical Education with a minor in Special Subjects
- Jacob Regensburger - Middle School Math and Science
- Cristin Ritchie - Middle School Math and Science
- Anna Toole - Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish
