Catawba College student Christopher "Yung Citizen" Williams will have his Senior Showcase on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in Hedrick Little Theatre on campus.
Williams, a music business major from Charlotte, will be performing with fellow Catawba student, Jaymarr "J-Real" Williams of Stafford, Va. He has been making beats since he was a 16-year-old high school student. In February of this year, he learned that the rapper Neako had used one of his beats on a new mix tape called, "Tr33," as the rhythmic underlayment for his song, "Whippin' Whippin'."
The performance is free and open to the public.
