Catawba truly wants the best for their students and will go the extra mile to ensure this experience.”
Kathryn (Katie) Webb is a graduate student here at Catawba. She received her undergraduate from Catawba in 2022 with a double major in History and Political Science and a minor in Business Administration with a concentration in Pre-Law. Currently, she is working toward her MBA.
When asked how she learned about Catawba, Katie said, “My family lived in North Carolina for a few years and heard about the school. My youth soccer coach is Coach Brown’s (Catawba’s Head Women’s soccer coach) best friend. Coach Brown was recruiting me to play after I attended a camp.”
“Catawba quickly felt like home once I arrived on campus. The campus is beautiful. Everyone was so incredibly kind and made you feel welcomed. Their academic and athletic programs drew me in, but the atmosphere made me stay.”
When asked what she loves about Catawba, she said, “My favorite thing about Catawba is the family atmosphere. You will always have a friend in any class. Professors want you to succeed in and out of the classroom. From the students to faculty and staff, everyone is so supportive of you.”
