Alumni Board of Directors Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Catawba College Alumni Board of Directors. This form is designed to help us learn more about you, your interests, availability, and the skills and experience you would bring to the board. Please answer as thoroughly as you are comfortable. Your responses will help ensure a strong and engaged board.

The Catawba College Alumni Board of Directors is driven by a diverse group of alumni who are committed to serving current students and the alumni community.

The Alumni Board is comprised of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and the Committees of Student Engagement, Career Prep, and Governance. Individuals are elected by current representatives.

Board members may serve up to two consecutive terms, with each term lasting three years. After completing two consecutive terms, members are required to take a minimum one-year break from board service before becoming eligible to serve again. All alumni, including those who have previously served on the Alumni Board, are eligible for consideration.

It is suggested that alumni serve on only one of the following boards at a time: the Chiefs Club Board, Board of Visitors, Board of Trustees, Catawba Black Alumni Network Board, or the Alumni Board of Directors. This guideline encourages broad alumni participation, ensures members can dedicate appropriate time to their volunteer commitments, and supports meaningful engagement, broad representation, and equitable access to leadership opportunities across all boards.
