- National Association for Music Educators (NAfME), promoting college student involvement in the performance and teaching of music.
- Music and Entertainment Industry Students Association (MEISA) to satisfy an interest in the music and entertainment industry.
- Salisbury Symphony Orchestra, a community organization of professional musicians, teachers, students and local residents who are musically inclined.
- The Blue Masque, Catawba's Theatre Arts student organization which hosts a variety of social activities, fundraisers, and service projects each year and is one of the oldest and largest clubs on campus.
- Alpha Psi Omega, the national Theatre Honor Society and service organization for aspiring Theatre Arts professionals whose primary aim is to encourage dramatic production at every step in a person’s academic career.
