Special thanks to: Dr Zerger has been a great mentor and has had a huge impact on my experience at Catawba. He recognized my passion for mathematics and has spent a lot of time with me individually answering any questions I may have that are outside the scope of some classes. He has continued to introduce problems to me which not only challenge me to think critically, but also give him an opportunity to show me something new. My goal is to be the kind of professor that he was to me. Dr Baker, Dr Hunt, as well as Dr Zerger have given me so many opportunities to be a resource and a role model to students through recommending me for positions like the SMART Center, or asking me to be the Supplemental Instructor or Teaching Fellow for their classes. All three of these professors have given me great advice and advised me in various ways, and I am very thankful to have built a personal relationship with all them.

Hi! I am Bailee Hepler and I am from Rockwell, North Carolina. I am graduating with a major in Politics. I am planning to go on to teach and hopefully end up working in educational policy! Catawba College has been family since I first met with my freshman seminar class back in August of 2019. I would like to thank Dr. Feeney and Dr. Bitzer for being the best professors anyone could ask for. Fair Catawba, My Catawba!
Special thanks to: Dr. Feeney, He has been incredibly understanding, kind, and someone who has helped shaped my Catawba experience. There are absolutely no words to describe just how grateful I am to have had Dr. Feeney. Dr. Bitzer, He has pushed, not only me, but every student his classes to think at a higher level than we thought possible. Dr. Bitzer has taught me how to think deeper than surface level, ask the questions I have no matter what, and most importantly, showed me type of teacher I want to be in the future.
