Temporarily located in the Corriher-Linn-Black Library, the Curriculum Materials Center houses Lego robotics kits, a 3D printer, a copier, a scanner, a color printer, paper cutter, laminator, and die cutter templates available for student use. Databases available through the CMC are of special interest to teacher education students.

Located in the Corriher-Linn-Black Library, Catawba students pursuing the Elementary Education bachelor’s degree program have access to an extensive selection of award-winning children’s literature. The offerings in this library contain representative examples of the best of the best in children’s lit.
Catawba's library acquires children's and young adult books that have been awarded the Medal or Honor for the following awards: Caldecott, Newbery, Coretta Scott King, Mildred L. Batchelder, Kate Greenaway, and Boston Globe/Horn Books . These books will provide supplementary reading for courses focusing on children's literature.

Catawba’s Elementary Education majors have access to a collection curated by Associate Professor Emerita Dr. Rhonda Truitt. The collection includes titles particular to elementary and middle school education.
