Next Steps

You’re accepted! Now what?

As a recently admitted student at Catawba College, there are important next steps that you need to take in order to complete your enrollment. The Applicant Status Portal and the Next Steps page will be your central hub for all important information regarding your enrollment and what you need to do next. Once you have paid your deposit, it's important to note that some items will require additional login credentials, such as your Catawba ID number and passwords, which can be found in the portal.

Make sure to review your checklist in the portal to see what items you still need to complete and reach out to your admissions counselor if you have any questions.   • Enhance your academic experience via the Honors and Pursuit programs. Submit a short essay to be considered for those programs and additional scholarships.

  • Your academic advisor will help you build your class schedule and answer any questions you may have about academics at Catawba College.

  • Complete the housing application to build your profile and indicate your preferred residence hall.

  • Required for all new students, orientation will help you get familiar with life at Catawba, the campus, and more before classes start in the fall.

  • Don't miss out on the First-Year Retreat, one of the best parts of the Orientation process! Meet future classmates and get to know the faculty and staff who will be there to support you during your entire college experience - and have tons of fun doing it.

  • Complete your financial aid requirements to formally accept and finalize your package. This information will be used to generate your student billing statement.

  • Prior to arriving on campus, be sure to submit all your required forms and documentation through the applicant portal.

  • Once you complete the spring semester, send your final transcripts to Catawba along with any AP/IB Scores and any additional college credit.
