How To Audition for a Theatre Arts Scholarship Or One Of Our BFA Tracks:
Students wishing to be part of our BA in Theatre Arts do not need to audition for the program.
However, if you would like to:
- Be considered for a Theatre Arts Scholarship
- Be considered for pre-approval for one of our BFA tracks
Please take the following steps:
- Use Acceptd to submit pre-screening digital portfolios/audition materials.
- Apply to Catawba
- Look out for possible invitations to our Theatre Arts Hobgood Scholarship Competition, or other college-wide scholarship days.
- Visit campus The best way to see if we are a “good fit” for you is to see campus and talk with faculty and students. Scholarship competitions take place in-person. However, we recognize that sometimes this can prove a hardship. If this is the case, please let us know.
What Happens Next?
- Theatre Arts Faculty review your digital pre-screening materials
- We will contact you via Accept’d to confirm your acceptance into a degree track, pending college admittance.
- We will send you details about scholarship competitions that you qualify for.
- We will send you details about arrangements for your visit, should you plan to visit. It is helpful to contact Sacha Witt anwitt16@catawba.edu if you wish to see a show, or speak with theatre faculty, or attend a theatre class.
