Theatre Arts Auditions & Scholarships at Catawba College

How to audition for a scholarship or one of our BFA Tracks:

Students wishing to be part of our BA in Theatre Arts do not need to audition for the program.

However, if you would like to:

• Be considered for a Theatre Arts Scholarship

• Be considered for pre-approval for one of our BFA tracks

Please take the following steps:

1. Apply to Catawba

2. Use Acceptd to submit pre-screening digital portfolios/audition materials.

3. Register via Acceptd to attend one of our Theatre Arts Experience Days
   (Saturday, February 25, 2023)

What Happens Next?

• Theatre Arts Faculty review your digital pre-screening materials

• We will contact you via Acceptd to confirm your preferred Theatre Arts Experience Day date

• We will send you details about arrangements for your visit

• You will participate in one of our Theatre Arts Experience Days led by Catawba Theatre Arts faculty

• We will notify you (typically within two weeks) of your recommended scholarship amount and/or degree track.

• In order to be considered for one of our BFA Tracks or a Theatre Arts scholarship, you must visit campus.

• If neither of the dates for our Theatre Arts Experience Days works with your schedule, a limited number of invitations may be issued for individual interviews (typically Fridays at noon, when we're in session). Students wishing to apply for an exception must first go through Acceptd and request a “Friday interview.”
